    Reel manufacturers recommend a minimum yearly maintenance for your fishing reels.  Even if you don't use them the oil will drain from bearings and the grease can start to thicken reducing service qualities.  When your reels are used often they can be subjected to conditions that may require additional care.  Rain, mud and extreme heat (the trunk of the car) are conditions to consider.
    The first part of our service is cleaning.  Cleaning your reel must be done with thoughtful consideration of the materials within the reel.  Many parts can be made of materials that may suffer degradation from improper cleaning methods.  We employ ultrasonic cleaning which is the same type of cleaning used in the medical field.  We are sure your reel is clean before we inspect for excessive wear or damage on the moving parts of your reel.
    Only the highest quality lubricants are used when reassembling your reel.  Each lubricant is chosen for its specific qualities and the ability to provide protection thus prolonging the life of your reel.
    We also offer line spooling.  Your line is second in importance to your reel.
    All the lubricants we use are available for purchase, a drop of oil here or a dab of grease there will help your reel's performance.
