After we have our reels tuned up for top performance we might want to add a personal touch.  I have to admit to being artistically challenged myself, but from time to time I've come across some appearance options worth sharing.  We welcome suggestions for additions to the collection.

Bill Dee does some very attractive paint work.  He can be contacted at:
sob-lure@swbell.net

Marbeling is actually a very old faux finishing technique.  Applying it to fishing tackle shows some imaginative results.  I believe this fellow is planning a
"how to" DVD for those who are interested.  He can be contacted at: putter@dia.net

Powder coat is an attractive finish
although fairly complicated to achieve
Contact powder coated classics.

The rubberized cork handles are an attractive but fairly expensive option for some reels

The Reelgrip product is a simple and economical add-on.  Also a consideration for arthritic hands due to the larger size.
We would hope for additional colors.  Maybe florescent?

They look like shotgun shells but they are handles available from Japan
